Description
The TEXONIC PX100 is a 100-inch fixed frame projector screen designed for home theatres, media rooms, gaming spaces and permanent presentation installations. Its 16:9 matte-white viewing surface stays tensioned inside a rigid frame to provide a smooth, consistent image area without the rolling and retracting mechanism of a motorized screen.
A 1.1 gain surface and wide 160° viewing angle make the PX100 a practical screen for movies, sports, gaming and presentations where room lighting can be reasonably controlled. The black velvet-covered aluminium frame creates a clean finished border around the projected image.

Why Choose a Fixed Frame Screen?
A Practical 100-Inch Screen Size
A 100-inch screen provides a large projected image without requiring the wall space of a 120-inch or larger screen. It is particularly useful for smaller dedicated theatres, family media rooms, gaming rooms, offices and other permanent AV installations.
Screen size should always be matched to the projector's supported image size, throw distance, available wall width and seating position. Measure the complete installation area before ordering rather than relying only on the 100-inch diagonal measurement.
Recommended Applications
1.1 Gain Matte-White Surface
The PX100 uses a 0.45 mm matte-white PVC projection surface with a published gain of 1.1. This type of screen provides balanced light distribution for conventional home theatre, gaming and presentation applications.
The published 160° viewing angle helps viewers seated away from the centre line maintain a clear view of the projected image, making the PX100 useful where seating is spread across the room.
Black Velvet-Covered Aluminium Frame
The rigid aluminium frame provides the structure needed to keep the screen permanently tensioned. A black velvet covering surrounds the image area, helping absorb stray projected light near the edges while giving the installation a clean theatre-style finish.
Projector Compatibility
| Projector Type | PX100 Guidance |
|---|---|
| Standard Throw | Suitable when the projector supports a 100-inch image at the available throw distance. |
| Short Throw | The stable fixed surface can be a good match for compatible short-throw projector installations. |
| Ultra-Short Throw | Check the projector manufacturer's screen recommendation before ordering. Some UST projectors perform best with a dedicated UST ALR or CLR screen. |
Room Lighting Matters
The PX100 uses a standard matte-white projection surface rather than a specialized ambient-light-rejecting material. For the best picture, use the screen in a room where direct daylight and strong uncontrolled lighting can be reduced.
Brighter rooms may require a higher-output projector, improved window and lighting control, or a screen specifically designed for ambient-light rejection.
Measure the Wall Before Ordering
Published overall screen dimensions are approximately 92" wide × 54" high.
Confirm throw distance and lens position for a 100-inch 16:9 image.
Confirm seating distance and screen height before choosing the final mounting location.
